Expository Preaching at Ascend
At Ascend, we believe the best way to understand the Bible is to let it speak for itself. Each week, our preaching staff studies the original language, historical context, and the place each passage holds in God’s larger story of redemption through Jesus Christ.

1. Come to Church
Join us for worship on Sunday mornings at 8:00, 9:30, or 11:00am, and experience Christ-centered worship, biblical preaching, and intentional community.
2. Join us for a connected lunch
After second service on select dates we have a lunch scheduled so you can get to know the Terrell family and the leaders of our church and learn how to connect to the ministries of Ascend Church.
3. Take Small Groups Step One
This four-week foundational class will prepare you to live in discipling relationships at Ascend and help you get connected with a small group.

Since its founding in 2010, Ascend Church has been a community that desires to see lost people saved, saved people matured, and mature people multiplied to the glory of God in Kansas City and the surrounding area.
As a church family, we’re committed to living life side by side, growing together in our knowledge of God’s Word and our love for one another. Genuine community and connection is central to this mission, which is why nearly 75 percent of our church family is engaged in a discipleship ministry.
Through location moves, name changes, and incredible growth, Christ has remained our foundation and is the center of all that we do.
